ਮਨ ਰੇ ਸਾਚਾ ਗਹੋ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ।।
ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨੁ ਮਿਥਿਆ ਮਾਨੋ ਸਗਰੋ ਇਹੁ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ।।੧।। ਰਹਾਉ ।।
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਜੋਗੀ ਖੋਜਤ ਹਾਰੇ ਪਾਇਓ ਨਾਹਿ ਤਿਹ ਪਾਰਾ।।
ਸੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੁਮ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਪਛਾਨੋ ਰੂਪ ਰੇਖ ਤੇ ਨਿਆਰਾ ।। ੧ ।।
ਪਾਵਨ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਗਤ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਕਬਹੂ ਨਾਹਿ ਸੰਭਾਰਾ ।।

man ray saachaa gaho bichaaraa ।।
raam naam bin mithi-aa maano sagro ih sansaaraa. ||1|| rahaa-o ।।
jaa ka-o jogee khojat haaray paa-i-o naahi tih paaraa।।
so su-aamee tum nikat pachhaano roop raykh tay ni-aaraa. ||1||
paavan naam jagat mai har ko kabhoo naahi sambhaaraa ।।
naanak saran pari-o jag bandan raakho birad tuhaaraa. ||2||3||
Meaning:
O mind, embrace true contemplation. Without the Lord’s Name, know that this whole world is false. ||1||Pause||
The Yogis are tired of searching for Him, but they have not found His limit. You must understand that the Lord and Master is near at hand, but He has no form or feature. ||1||
The Naam, the Name of the Lord is purifying in the world, and yet you never remember it. Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of the One, before whom the whole world bows down; please, preserve and protect me, by Your innate nature. ||2||3||
